About me

Hello!

I have owned and loved dogs all my life. I was born and raised in Cornwall, and my family owned german shepherd dogs and my grandparents dobermanns. If I see a dog I have to say hello.

My husband and I got our first dog together, Molly, in 2010. She was our first baby and was a hugely loved family member until she sadly died in 2025 aged 15. She was happy and loved, but as all dog owners know, it hurts to say goodbye and she will always be missed.

We have 4 children aged 3-13 and so I am used to organised chaos! We have just welcomed a new puppy into our family - a loveable goldendoode called Albie. I am sure he will join in on group walks when he is older.

I graduated from the Univeristy of Bath in 2006 with a BSc in Biology and have worked as a Biology/Science teacher since 2007. I still work as an A level and GCSE examiner during the exam periods.

After losing my dog Molly in December, I started walking a couple of friends' dogs. I literally couldn't imagine not having a dog to walk! I loved it and realised I could make it work as a business. I left teaching in Summer 2026 in order to work full-time on Fields and Fetch and honestly couldn't think of a better way to spend my days than surrounded by dogs in the open countryside. I've had a long and fulfilling career as a teacher, but I am looking forward to a new challenge and more flexibility to work around family life.
